PETER KELLAWAY, Ph.D.,
Professor of Neurology and Neuroscience at Baylor College of Medicine, pioneer
in the development of the medical fields of clinical neurophysiology and
epilepsy, internationally recognized expert in electroencephalography and
Baylor faculty member for 55 years died June 25, 2003 from complications
related to lymphoma, a disorder he battled for over a decade. He was 82 years
old. Preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Kellaway and Doreen Elizabeth
Kellaway and by his beloved son Kevin Sean, Dr. Kellaway is survived by the
love and light of his life, his wife of 45 years, Jo Anne and their children
and grandchildren: David Peter Kellaway, his wife Laurie Anne and their
children Elycia, Jamie and Chilli, of Las Vegas, Nevada; Dr. Judianne Kellaway,
her husband Douglas Mason and their sons Samuel Peter and John Kevin;
Christina Kellaway Loescher, her husband Wolfgang Loescher and their daughter
Katie Arwen; and Jaime Lauriston Kellaway, all of Houston, Texas. Dr. Kellaway
also leaves behind his brother Bryan Kellaway of Los Angeles, CA as well as
his best friend, colleague, and son of his heart, Dr. Eli M. Mizrahi. A
Memorial Visitation will be held at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons Funeral
Directors, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, on Monday, the 30th of June 2003,
from 4 o'clock in the afternoon until 9 o'clock in the evening. A Memorial
Mass will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Road in
Houston, at half past 10 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday, the 1st of July
2003. The family requests that, in lieu of usual remembrances,
donations be made to the Peter Kellaway Research Endowment. Donations can be

Neurophysiology, Department of Neurology, Baylor College of Medicine, One
Baylor Plaza, Houston, Texas, 77030.
