LLOYD C. GIBSON, passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2004 in Houston, Texas at the age of 53. He is preceded in death by father, Richard Gibson, Grandparents Robert & Nadine Caldwell, Ed & Irene Firth, survived by wife, Lynne Gibson, daughter Laura Gibson, Mother Virginia Roark, brothers Zip Gibson, Robert Gibson, Raymond Roark, Brian Roark, sister Terrie Spandau, nephews Jason Mosher, Christopher Roark and niece Allia Roark, Aunts Audra Connors, Wanda Reed, Uncle Grover Gibson & wife, Carolyn An entrepreneur who launched the first CD in space, was the CEO of Abacus Records and Bandstore, and founded Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann in 2001. He worked at IBM in various capacities for 24 years. His passion was his family and playing Irish Music. A visitation will begin on Sunday, March 21, 2004 from 3-6:00 PM at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 E. Medical Center Blvd., Webster Texas 77598. A grave side service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 26, 2004 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. In lieu of flowers, you may send memorials to V.F.W. POST 7109, 4202 W. Walnut, Pearland, Texas 77581.
